Mabon Blessings !!

Remember that this is a time that a Energy shift is upon the Earth. The more in tuned and connected to the Earth, the more your own energy will be all over the place, so keep that in mind if you are feeling " out of sorts ".

What is the origin?

We may never know the true origin of this saying. Some accredit it to Shakespeare, but no one in his work do we find it, nor would ketchup have been a term used during his time. Some accredit it to Monty Python, but I have been unable to find it in any of their movies. You will find many references, that the saying is a take-off on a quote by J. R. R. Tolkien, "Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for they are subtle, and quick to anger" spoken by Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings, and that it first appeared in a Dilbert cartoon of all things. However, according to the official Dilbert website by creator Scott Adams, this is not a Dilbert quote at all. Some swear it's from a Magic game card. It has been around since at least the late 70's that we can track.

In 2009, a heavy metal band, ....And the Magical 8-Ball Band released an album with the saying as it's title so technically Matt Grainger may own the copyright to it.
  • Original Release Date: August 19, 2009
  • Label: Plastic Parrot
  • Copyright: (c) Matt Grainger

Whatever the origin, it is a saying sure to bring a smile to the dragon lovers, as well as the average human, in one of it's many forms.

A prosperity spell

You need atleast five candles but six is optimal. I haven't found my special Air candle yet so I used the special pillars I have for Earth, Fire, Water and the God and Goddess. I set them up on our makeshift bar/altar and said this chant:

I light for Fire, I light for Water, I light for Earth
For Air feeds the spark that fans these flames
I light the God, I light the Goddess
With honor and love I have came

Burn high burn bright
Earth, ground out my monetary plight.
Burn high burn bright
Fire, burn out my monetary plight.
Burn high burn bright
Air, blow away my monetary plight.

Burn high burn bright

Water, wash away my monetary plight.

Burn high burn bright
More funds bring to sight.
Burn high burn bright
More funds bring to sight.
Burn high burn bright
More funds bring to sight.

Burn bright, My Lady and high My Lord
Make my bills, what I can afford.
Burn bright, My Lady and high My Lord
Make my bills, what I can afford.
Burn bright, My Lady and high My Lord
Make my bills, what I can afford.

So Mote It Be!!

May any who are facing hard economic times and use this spell see their money situation ease.

Words that whispered in my ear one morn....

Majestic Morrigan
We rise this morn on the edge of your timeless battlefield.

Your trinity of warrior daughters,
may we feel your wisdom as we follow your peaceful warrior son, our Priest.

As we gaze across the battlefields to those so willing to fight without cause,
we follow our fierce, pure light in his stance to refuse to enter the fight.

Your message received.
Steadfast we will be...
Three lines of white
Are we!!

Your Ravens and crows travel along side,
your Seth, ours, we do abide.

Blessed Be!!
